Currently living in Morecambe, Lancashire, but wanting to take my experience elsewhere in the UK. (Location not minded as I’m willing to move!)
I have grown up in a family run funeral directors and know all aspects of the job.
Currently half way through the Embalming and Mortuary Science diploma, recognised by the British Institute of Embalmers, at La Calavera College in Blackpool.
I adore this course and can’t wait to be fully qualified int he field!
Grown up in a funeral home setting and have been helping since the age of 8.
In recent years I’ve been full time working there and take on the role as an all rounder.
arranging funerals and booking crematoriums/burials sites/ministers/churches/celebrants/floral tributes/news paper obituaries/reception venues preparation of deceased for viewings pall bearing relevant funeral related admin office admin
Part way through the Embalming and Mortuary science diploma recognised by the British institute of Embalmers (of which I am a current student member) at La Calavera College in Blackpool.
This includes 5 theory module exams (2 have already been passed with the 3rd exam on the way) and practical training in embalming.
