I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist currently working within the NHS, with experience in psychological assessment, evidence-based intervention, multidisciplinary working, and applied research. My background combines clinical formulation with strong analytical, documentation, and evaluation skills developed in complex healthcare and secure settings.
Alongside clinical practice, I am open to transitioning into or exploring adjacent fields such as consulting, behavioural science, or data and analytics roles, where psychological insight, structured problem-solving, and evidence-led decision-making are central. I am seeking opportunities to relocate across the Pacific, particularly to the United States or Canada.
I have professional experience in the healthcare sector, with a specialism in clinical psychology. I also worked in youth support services and had earlier experience within the NHS as a healthcare assistant. My current role as a trainee clinical psychologist involves psychological assessment, formulation, and the delivery of evidence-based intervention under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist.
My role enabled me to experience multi-disciplinary team working, along with a competency in record keeping and applied research.
Prior to this, I sought experience working in challenging and complex environments in secure and forensic settings - these high-risk settings allowed me to exercise safeguarding, conflict de-escalation, and inter-agency co-ordination. I have also held leadership roles addressing psychological well-being, mental health awareness, and research and development.
I am currently completing a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Lancaster University. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham; I feel this provides me with a strong foundation in psychological theory, research methods, data analysis, and the biological bases of behaviour.
