I am a recent Newcastle University Graduate achieving a 2:1 in Food Business Management and Marketing with Placement Year.

I offer a year’s experience working within the finance team as an Industrial placement for Northern Ireland's largest private sector business, Moy Park.

13 month long Industrial Placement for Moy Park :

• Extensive experience with SAP software for food product costing as role involved building, maintaining and updating SAP bill of materials. 
• Cross departmental collaboration with NPD, commercial and sales teams to help achieve KPI’s and monthly sales targets.
• Sound commercial knowledge and understanding of product margins and mark ups. 
• Effective and productive in a hybrid or remote working role as placement was obtained and completed during the coronavirus pandemic.
• Supported Finance department with quarterly cost runs and year end standard cost releases for 6 plants. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel due to completing concept product costing’s on formulated spreadsheets and trackers.

6 Years part time retail sales at Clarks Shoes :

• Can work efficiently and flexibly whilst providing exemplary customer service due to working as part of a small team in a consistently busy store. 
• Role consists of confidently approaching, greeting and serving customers, organizing stock and contributing to general upkeep of the store. 
• Became key holder after 4 months of employment, demonstrating trustworthiness and capability.
• Maintained part time retail position throughout University studies and Placement, demonstrating commitment and reliability. 
• Consistently meet monthly sales targets in order to contribute to the overall success of our store within our region.

Degree focused on the production and consumption of food products and on the behaviours of people as consumers, covering a range of social science and business subjects

Final Year Group Consultancy Project in collaboration with Greggs provided applied professional experience with a real food business client:

• Successfully fulfilled the brief of creating a ‘food on the-go evening meal solution, appealing to the health-conscious consumer at Greggs’. 
• Creatively contributed to the development of three new product concepts and an accompanying marketing strategy. 
• Increased Commercial Awareness and improved Research Skills via finding, analysing, interpreting and evaluating market information and trends. 
• Confidently delivered a final Report and Presentation of findings to Greggs’ representatives.
