I am a really outgoing person I really do enjoy meeting new people and helping out in many ways that I can. I have a lot of experience with customer service from previous jobs I have worked including stadium of light, one beyond and McDonald's. I have finished and passed my Health and Social Care Level 3 course at Bede College Sunderland.
I have learned and have a strong understanding on the Legislations, Safeguarding, correct ways to use PPE, changing of beds, correct ways to move and handle people, Observations and how to read them correctly. I am currently working in North East Autism Society (NEAS) here I look after children with different learning and physical disabilities. I also cook meals, assist in baths and showers, administer medication daily to different service users who are on different medications and ml types.
I take the service users out on activities this could be 1:1 or 2:1 depending on the service users.
Residential Childcare Worker at North East Autism Society (2025-01 – Present)
At my job at North East Autism Society I have the duties of looking after 4/5 children all with different learning and physical disabilities. I take the children out 1:1 or 2:1 in the community or in the house setting. I also cook for them, clean the house and other things that need doing in and around the home.
I have looked after children who do have incontinence I also help shower and dress them and this is something I take in a serious manner, respecting there dignity and making sure they are clean and smart and comfortable. The children I also care for have medication that's administered by me as a staff member. Making sure they get the correct medication at the correct times.
When the children come home from school they may have small activities to do as homework I try and make this interesting as I possibly can.
McDonalds Crew Member at McDonald's (2023-11 – Present)
My duties at mcdonalds include ensuring all customers are happy and recievethe food they order. In order to complete this successfully I have to work well as a team and have a great understanding on how to keep things organised. It is important to show determination to get all the customers their food in a certain amount of time.
Assisting children at More than grandparents charity (2023-09 – 2024-06)
At More Than Grandparents I was in charge of looking after children in small to large groups. Some of which the children has additional needs so as a person I had the responsibility to look after them to ensure their safety. During activities it was important for each and every child to be included in a task to help create bonds and help expand their understanding on different numbers/ words.
Stadium of light at Stadium Of Light (2022-09 – 2023-05)
I have a strong understanding on customer service, and have experience dealing with different types of customers. I am also good at working under pressure as the Stadium Of Light can get really busy at times. Working as this role at the Stadium gives me good communication skills both with staff and customers in which I try my very best to assist them or contact the appropriate person.
In the stadium of light I also handled food. I had to be quick at making the food so I am good at being under pressure and can handle it well. I have recently worked at one beyond I was working on the shop floor and using the tills handling cash and card.
I was also tidying shelves, helping with deliveries and stocking shelves.
