- Lead a team of around 30 to 40 other cadets on squadron.
- Aid with training and development within the wider wing (around 1200 cadets) in such things as leadership, first aid, adventure training (including climbing, water sports, abseiling) and shooting.
- Assist with the running of the squadron including lesson planning and delivery, discipline, and general tasks.
- Assist with the management and leadership of camps of up to 300 cadets.
- Oversee flight safety for up to 30 cadets per weekend within a high tempo fast paced dangerous environment on an active airfield

- I supported the COVID19 vaccination project within St. John by organizing and delivering a lot of the behind-the-scenes logistics.
- Help train other cadets in different qualifications ranging from first aid to "Camp Craft", communications and leadership.

This job has been a fabulous experience and very educational teaching me how to better my interactions with customers, particularly those who are scared, nervous or afraid of what they are about to do. This has enabled me to broaden my ability to empathize with others and work on personal plans to help them reach their goals. It has also taught me valuable lessons of multi-tasking and structure to a day
- Performing course inspections whilst opening are course and performing pre use check on our courses before any customer ever goes on them
- Performing PPE pre use checks to ensure that all of the PPE provided to staff and customers is fit for purpose and safe
- Providing a comprehensive safety brief at the start of a customers adventure covering all safety principles and how to use our course alongside what to do in an emergency
- Provide direct supervision of customers during their first adventure at heigh ensuring they are ok and sticking to the correct procedures
- Providing assistance to customers who may require it in multiple forms be it verbal advice from the ground or heading up on to the course and providing physical assistance
- Providing basic rescue to those who become stuck on the course and escalating to specialist trained staff members when require
- Formulating plans to enable customers to complete their goals when faced with limitations and boundaries
