I am currently a warrant officer/ field agent within the debt collection/credit management sector with Resolvecall ltd. Previously I was a professional rugby player for 5 years before transitioning into the normal world. I have A B B at A level and 9 GCSEs to accompany my life skills.

My professionals rugby background allows me to communicate well with others and work well in a team whilst also having the motivation to be the best I can be personally. In addition, my current role has added the ability to diffuse situations with my words and deal with a variety of people in order to achieve the desired outcome.

In my current role I visit properties in regards to octopus energy arrears on welfare/warrant visits. I also visit properties aiming to recconnect them to the call centre regarding arrears on their mortgage, credit card, car finance, water etc. This role requires me to communicate with a variety of people from all backgrounds and has allowed me to develop my objection handling skills and deal with a whole host of different outcomes.

It's also allowed me to deal with confrontation in a calm and collected way and diffuse the situation where possible

I was a professional rugby player for Bedford blues in the championship. Losing my job due to the collapse of my previous team meant I had to join a new team quickly and adapt to the environment which I did successfully becoming an important member of the team quickly after joining

I was a full time professional rugby player for Worcester Warriors in the Gallagher Premiership untill they went into administration last year. I was able to work well in a team and perform under pressure. I was also able to meet targets and overcome adversity to achieve a goal both for Worcester warriors and England under 20s
