I have a breadth of experience within the arts sector in both public and commercial galleries and arts organisations. My experience includes research, editing, curation, gallery management and administration. I have always been interested in and involved with art.
Currently, I am working as a Curator at Liliya Art Gallery, specialising in contemporary emerging artists. I started at Liliya Art Gallery in August 2021 as an Assistant Curator; and in just 4 months, I was promoted to Curator from December 2021. As part of my role, I have solo curated six concept-driven exhibitions and co-curated eight exhibitions.
My past and current experience has equipped me with many skills; some of which are: organisational and curatorial skills, including organising and managing all aspects of exhibitions from concept to delivery; artist and artwork research skills; cataloguing; artist and client liaison; team management experience for an arts and culture magazine. I have robust administrative skills including database management and experience with ArtLogic, InDesign, Photoshop and ArtLand; research, writing, proofreading, and editing for mailing campaigns, press releases and an arts magazine. I have in-depth provenance and fact-checking experience for the BBC as part of their art series, 'Nature and Us: A History through Art'.
I speak French and Spanish to beginner-intermediate level and have an MA in History and Philosophy of Art. I have strong interpersonal skills in both a public and client facing environment.
