Emily Little

I have been working as a Team Leader for the past 18 months since graduation from The University of Warwick with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. During my time as a student, I was a Quality Assessor for StoryTel, reading through manuscript translations to assess their quality before publication. This gave me the opportunity to develop my skills in proofreading, and to gain some experience in the publishing industry.

I also completed a week’s work experience with Oxford University Press back in 2018. Here, I spent several days working with the children’s fiction teams - namely Marketing, Design, and Editing. This gave me the opportunity to understand how the different elements of a publishing house operate, and to get a feel for what my day-to-day life would be as a worker in this industry.

Now that I have settled into post-Graduate life, I am ready to begin my career in publishing.
