Emily Puckering

I am a hardworking, friendly, and reliable 16-year-old student currently studying at Hull College. I have good communication and time-management skills, enjoy working with other people and am comfortable being part of a team. I am looking for a part-time job to help develop my experience working in a working environment and I think it will help me gain confidence when talking to other workers and customers.

I am keen to learn all aspects of the role that I am able to carry out at my age, stocking shelves, and helping other members of the team with general duties. I am happy to take instructions, work hard and learn from more experienced members of staff. I understand the importance of being punctual, polite and reliable, particularly when working in a busy customer-facing environment.

Work Experience at Eastfield Primary School

During my work experience at Eastfield Primary School, I gained experience of being in a professional working environment and working alongside members of staff. The placement helped me develop my communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. I learned the importance of being reliable, following instructions and behaving professionally while working with both staff and children.

Night work experience at Pub in Hessle

I have also done a night working at a pub in hessle glass collecting which was a remarkably busy and stressful environment which helped me develop confidence in working in similar environments.
