Irish guy living in Edinburgh city centre, open to new job experiences to develop more skills

Passionate about art and photography having studied art for a year after finishing school and further going to work in the United States as a ceramic teacher.

I consider myself a highly organised and determined individual. No matter the task, I always try my best to achieve the end goal.

I have a good range of experience:

• 2019-2025 (Retail Assistant)

I was a senior member of staff at a family run business in my home town in Ireland. I was trusted with many tasks and was highly sought out by regular customers to assist them.

• Summer of 2023 (Camp Specialist)

In the Summer of 2023, I was a camp specialist and councillor at a summer camp in Wisconsin Dells, United States. This taught me exceptional patience in high pressure environments as I’d be in charge of 30/40 kids alone at one time.

• George IV Bar (Bartender)

When I moved to Edinburgh I wanted to try and challenge myself for a new position. Bartending was something I wanted to try for a while and when the job popped up, I had to go for it. It helped me adapt to working in a high pressure environment and improve my team working skills.

In 2019 I studied an arts course after leaving High School. It was a Level 5 Art Portfolio course. I had the chance to study many forms of art from drawing to ceramics to fashion design.

All of these courses were amazing at making me focus on perfecting certain things in each subject. It made the concentration so important.

I went on to achieve the highest marks in each of my subjects and later on securing a job at a Summer Camp in America!
