I am an MBA graduate having nineteen years of work experience in India and three years in UK. I had worked two years as project executive in a strategic consulting firm, two years as marketing executive in telecom companies, sixteen years as business owner in construction and three years as shift manager in retail.
I have experience of managing restaurant in my free time in India for my family. It was a multicuisine restaurant with ninety seating capacities. I helped to manage the restaurants for my family in weekends, rush hours and festival times.
In my previous work experience as shift manager in Tesco, I managed the day-to-day activities of the store offering the best service to the customers and making the work environment healthier and safer for my team. I used to work out the shift pattern for my team and made sure the shop is adequately stocked. I motivated the team to offer the best service to the customers and guided the team in resolving any conflicts or queries of the customers.
As a business owner for sixteen years, I managed the administration, accounting, marketing, customer service and project management. I coordinated with different stakeholders like the owner of the land, government authority, architect, structural consultant and customers in making every project successful. I encouraged and motivated teams of different skills in completing the project by bring out the best quality in their work to meet the expectation of the customers.
I paid much attention to health and safety of my team members and maintained the working site, clean and tidy.
In my career with telecom companies, I helped them to launch their service by identifying the market. I recommended product and marketing strategies based on the feedback and recommendation from the customers through market research studies and helped them to maintain the competitive advantage.
