I’m currently a support worker on an ICU ward at a local community hospital. It goes without saying that I have no qualms about getting my hands dirty or putting in long hours. I consider myself a team player which is essential within my current position as an HCA and I am very good a working on my own initiative.
I have also developed good socializing skills from both previously working within the hospitality industry and the medical industry. Alongside this I am also CPR, First Aid and Fire trained. While I genuinely enjoy my job and cherish the friendships I've formed, my true passion lies in archaeology and history and I feel it is time I pursue my passions.
Many of my colleagues recognize my unwavering love for the subject and consistently encourage me to pursue it further and make something meaningful out of the knowledge I possess. I have previously studied diplomas on history and at the moment am studying an archaeology course as well as being in the process of applying to study a long distance degree in ancient history at Leicester university.
