I am an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Political Science and International Studies at McDaniel College in Maryland, where I have worked for the past ten years, since 2014. I am also Director for the college’s National Security Program. I have three years of prior university teaching and research experience with King’s College London at the UK’s Joint Services Command and Staff College, as well as a Ph.D. in Defence Studies, an M.S. in International Public Policy, and an M.A in International Relations and Modern History.
My teaching and research interests include China and the Asia-Pacific, Security Studies, International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Research Design and Methods.
I am a British citizen and will be returning to London in the United Kingdom in the summer of 2025. I am looking for a role where I can apply my skills and experience relating to research, teaching and service.
