Modern hybrid orchestral composer for media, including soundscapes, film and theatre. Having began his composition journey in 2015, Gabriel quickly developed his compositional style and advanced his production techniques, utilising a mixture of orchestral and synthetic elements to form unique soundscapes and emotional scores. Gabriel has worked on multiple major soundscape and media projects, lending his advanced understanding of tone, texture, and synchronisation to media, to critical acclaim.
Looking to return to composition after a few years in a different field, Gabriel is keen to use his skills and experience to relaunch a career in composition, Composing/Assistant Composing, Production/Arrangement, Sound Design/Audio Post Assistant, Studio Assistant, Sound Engineering, Music Supervising, Sync Coordinating, or A&R Coordinating. Head Composer – Illustrious Company (2020 – Present)
Composer and sound designer for large-scale sound installations, films, and exhibitions across the UK and internationally. Created bespoke hybrid-orchestral and ambient works for institutions including the Venice Biennale, Saatchi Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, and Forest of Imagination. Responsible for concept development, orchestration, production, and final delivery, collaborating with artists, curators, and directors to realise immersive audio experiences.
Freelance Media Composer (2015 – Present)
Composed and produced original scores for short films, theatre, and games, blending orchestral and electronic elements. Known for emotionally detailed, cinematic sound design and a refined sense of narrative and tone. Signed composer with Felt Music and Massive Music.
Sustainability Expert – Minimum (2024 – 2025)
Led end-to-end project management for corporate clients’ carbon accounting, coordinating analysis, reporting, and verification. Developed data management processes and collaborated with product teams on platform improvements.
Consultant (Transformation Advisory) – WSP (2023 – 2024)
Supported sustainability and data transformation projects for public and private sector clients. Delivered analytical reports, carbon footprint assessments, and technical documentation.
Carbon Consultant – Net Zero Group (2022 – 2023)
Developed and managed proprietary carbon calculation software (NetScope), authored methodology documents, and led consulting projects including Lord’s Cricket Ground’s Journey to Net Zero.
MPhil Environmental History – Trinity College Dublin (First Class Honours, 2021)
Focused on ecological history, human-environment interaction, and cultural narratives of nature.
Thesis: “Scorched Forests and Burgeoning Cities: The Evolution of a Wildfire Regime in Ancient Greece.”
