I am a pediatric trained nurse who has been in practise for 2 years. I am looking at moving to Dubai for an exciting new adventure around September/October 2024.
I feel I would offer an enthusiastic approach to the job and a willingness to learn every day. I have gained experience, on assessment units, general wards, neonatal care units, community nursing and the intensive care unit at Alder Hey. All of these experiences I could incorporate into my potential new role demonstrate excellent communication skills, solo work and also team work.
During my training, I have made sure to embrace and seek every opportunity to diversify my skills and experience as many opportunities as possible. By doing this, I feel I have pushed myself as a student to take on leadership and responsibilities that I would not have had the opportunity to do otherwise.
I safely work within clinical guidelines and understand how my decisions as a student nurse can impact service users and staff members, ensuring I follow the NMC and NICE guidelines. I take my role and responsibility very seriously. I have had nothing but good feedback from staff members I have worked alongside and have learnt so much from their vast experience and would love to continue to add to my skill set.
I have competently cared for my own patient load and provided care to a diverse set of paediatric patients will a broad range of illnesses and requirements and worked with their parents to enhance my learning. This has included the admissions of patients that have needed their care escalating dependent on their initial assessment and being part of this decision-making process and the care, they require as a result.
I am competent interacting with different intranets from a wide range of trusts, and documenting patient information and records in a timely, legitimate manner, ensuring any incidents are reported and escalated to the right professional. I am a fast learner and use my initiative and previous experience with NHS intranets to quickly explore and safely use new systems. Thus, which can be continued within the role as I would be handling personal information in which I can keep safe and secured.
Regarding the job role advertised, I would be grateful for the opportunity to broaden my skills and further gain experience working.
I am a motivated and proactive professional and have gained a plethora of transferrable skills during my nursing training that I feel could be an asset to the team.
I believe I am the desired candidate as I see potential in this new challenge for me.
Furthermore, I thrive working in partnership with families and building a rapport. I am devoted to pursuing my career and taking on new challenges and gaining as much experience as possible to be an asset to my working environment which I feel sets me aside from my peers.
