I am a hardworking, organised and motivated wedding planner with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts degree in Events Management. Since I was 10 years old, I have planned and executed charity events including fun runs, bike rides and auctions for Northampton General Hospital and raised in excess of £4,000 for a cause, which has a special meaning to my family.
I previously studied for a BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism with Northampton College as well as working part-time at New Look as a Customer Service Assistant. Through my different roles, I have gained valuable skills from excellent time management to interpersonal communication and gain real enjoyment from planning and delivering events.
From the age of 10, after losing my Dad, I started to organise my own charity events including fun runs, bike rides and auctions. This gave me a great passion for events which I wanted to pursue. During my time at university, I organised lots of different events including charity quiz to a charity ball for Children's Cancer raising £3000.
I am currently a wedding planner helping couple’s to plan and organise their big day from booking the venue, to sorting out suppliers and all the little details in between. Whilst pursuing my career within the events industry, I have gained a wide range of knowledge and key skills including excellent time management, initiative and exceptional communication skills.
I studied at Northampton University and received a 2:1 Batchelor of Arts degree in Events Management which helped me to gain valuable knowledge and experience within the events industry.
