As a brief introduction, I have spent the last 2 years working full time in the entertainment industry in South Africa on a combination of Electronic Dance Music Events, live concerts as well as curating an Afro House event brand called Motherland. It has been a privilege to have been exposed to such a variety of genres, often being thrown completely in the deep-end which has only strengthened my ability to work under pressure and adapt when facing unexpected, and often extremely challenging, circumstances.
Most of all the experience I have gained has fuelled my passion for both the event space and music. Bringing people together in a country like South Africa with such cultural diversity, has been hugely rewarding.
I am completely committed to a career in events, and I am hoping for an opportunity where I can further my knowledge within the industry in the UK and prove my ability to add value to your team whilst remaining calm in stressful situations and bringing immense pride to every task given to me.
