I would love the opportunity to work in mental health as it is an area that has always fascinated me. I am a very nurturing individual who always wants to help others and due to the rise in mental health awareness feel like now if better than ever to get into the field of mental health.
I have had part time jobs in sales, but my most relevant positions are voluntary: I work with Samaritans as a listener, taking calls from those who need support. I also volunteer at the Wisdom hospice in visitor support, speaking to the families and helping them to get settled into the environment.
I am due to graduate this autumn from my MSc psychology conversion degree. This has come after a BA history degree in which I specialised in medical history.
