I am a Recent graduate from the University of Bristol with an M.A in English Literature, specialising in economic humanities and environmental criticism, awarded a distinction. I have a history of academic excellence, and I am the proud recipient of the Hannam-Clark award for my essays in Shakespeare. Alongside my studies, throughout university I gained two years editorial experience working with Bristol's student-led research journal, BILT as their Subject Editor, providing me my foundation of knowledge on editorial practices, including copy-editing procedures and a good knowledge of publication timelines.
I am currently employed by the British Council as an Auxiliary de Conversacíon in Madrid, Spain, teaching English. I am also a journalist intern for the Borgen Project, where I write about business, markets, and new technologies in the global south, and a poetry reader for Pangyrus. I co-host a book club discussing women's contemporary fiction in translation, and write book reviews and political Op-Eds on my Substack.
