Graeme Hillan

I am a dedicated and confident professional engineer with a long track record of success, with 25+ years of experience of design, modifications, operations in the oil and gas sectors, both in the North Sea and abroad (UAE, Iraq and Canada).

I have successfully undertaken many technical and managerial positions in the areas of Oilfield Integrity, Inservice Inspection, Corrosion management and Design life extension. Over this time, I have honed my management skills and ability to successfully direct works from concept to completion.

I started my career as a Corrosion and Materials Engineer, involved in Detailed design and Front End Engineering projects. I am a WOOD Group certified Technical Authority for Pressure Systems and Offshore Structures. I have significant experience in integrity management of oilfield assets in the North Sea, for example I was a very successful Project Manager for fourteen offshore assets including several dozen subsea pipelines, operated by Talisman UK.

I have undertaken many construction projects in a Quality Managers position in Iraq, and most recently Dubai.

BSc Chemistry from Paisley University, supplimented with two post graduate awards from RGU (Aberdeen), PG Diploma Corrosion and Materials Engineering, and PG Certificate Asset Management.
