I am an enthusiastic carer who enjoys the challenge of providing people the care they need to live a full and meaning life. I seek to learn new skills to enable myself to understand my role better and grow in confidence. I have been in the care sector for seventeen months, however, all my previous roles have been within the public domain where I was professionally interactive with all I came in contact with.
I feel that I can be an asset to your company due to my willingness to learn and the flexibility that I can offer in order to meet the needs of both the business and for those I come into contact with. I hold a blue badge for CPI, trainin in buccal and ligature. I have an understanding of filling in MAR sheets and the importance of maintaining complete, accurate and up-to-date paperwork.
I have worked as a waking night support care worker for the past seventeen months for Options Kinsale, however, when the chance was given I have been able to work a few day shifts in order to gain the knowledge of dealing with young people with complex needs/issues.
Prior to working in care my work experience has been in the retail sector where it has been my responsibility to provide the best customer service I could.
I relate these two areas of employment together due to that I am giving those I am working for my personal and professional care in order for them to have a positive experience.
My latest education experience was fulfilling an year long access to higher education course at Llandrillo College in Rhyl in order to enter Bangor university. I achieved all the required credits needed to attend. At Bangor University I fulfilled one year of the Primary Education (teacher) course but finished it due to personal reasons.
