Graduate from a degree in Economics and Hand Surgery at The University of Oxford, having been the only non-surgeon to ever be awarded the British Society for Surgery of the Hand Fellowship. Currently at 18 publications, including in economic and financial modelling using Python, R and Stata.
I am currently studying to complete the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification. I have completed four investment banking related internships, one with Deloitte, one at Citi, one with UBS via Internships UK, and one at KPMG. Additionally, I have completed a consultancy internship at ClearView as a consultant in pricing, financial markets and due diligence. During these internships, I had exposure to Corporate Finance, Data Analysis, Accounting, and Financial Accounting.
In university, I've been the Director for Corporate Relations at King's Banking and Finance Society, as well as a mentor for other students trying to attain internships at the Oxford Finance Society. I've been on the research side of private equity as part of the King's Private Equity Club as well. Previously, I was the chair of the British Medical Association's Medical Student Committee, representing the views and issues of over 30,000 medical students across the United Kingdom.
I have also been the only medical student on the NHS Assembly, and am currently the sole Editor of the GKT Gazette, the oldest hospital journal in the world.
Outside of work and study, I row from opposite London City Airport, which helps me develop team working and cohesive listening and discipline as part of a group.
