I am a film production graduate who obtained a 2:1, and am looking for a job that will allow me to progress upwards into the industry as I believe I have many skills and characteristics that I can offer within this industry. I am extremely passionate about TV and Film as i love the way individuals are able to express creativity digitally, and the storylines/ cinematography ideas are endless. During my three years at Nottingham Trent University, I gained a whole range of skills such as sound design, editing on a range of editing softwares such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and many more.
The variety shows how I am able to adapt to different technologies very quickly. Other skills I obtained from this degree were being able to work effectively within in a Film Production professional setting such as BBC. I was able to be a runner and a camera operator for a BBC Introducing production in Nottingham.
Aswell as this, all students were able to work on other students’ films, therefore I was able to help other teams with their own productions where I had been a gaffer and a runner.
My professional experience consists of a variety of different productions. The most exciting project I have worked on is a BBC Introducing set in Nottingham, where I was a camera operator and a runner. Over the three years, I was able to help other students with their own projects where I was a runner or a gaffer.
With my own projects, I was able to direct, camera operate, sound design and edit these visual media pieces. I have had experience in creative short films, showreels and interactive pieces.
I am extremely proud that I achieved a 2:1 in Film Production Technology at Nottingham Trent University where I started in 2020 which was at the peak of covid. However despite this I still carried on and pushed through until the end.
