With my previous experience working in the hospitality sector, I understand how to work in a fast-paced environment calmly and methodically, and I have developed skills such as; good time management, attention to detail and organisation skills. Dispensary Assistant

• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing and Healthcare Assistant qualification
• Dispensing medication - picking stock, counting tablets and labelling 
• Handing out prescription medication to customers
• Building rapport with customers and other healthcare professionals such as local GP surgery staff 
• Maintaining customer confidentiality at all times 
• Learning various software such as LS Central (with Lloyds) and Titan PMR (with Parkside)
• Taking bookings for flu jabs 
• Using Pharmaoutcomes to enter patient details for flu jabs, as well as for Pharmacy Firsts 
• Knowledge of basic medical issues and over-the-counter medicines

Customer / Cafe Assistant

• Cash handling
• Operating the café oven to heat up customer's food
• Operating the dishwasher to keep the café clean
• Scanning customer purchases
• Assisting co-workers to ensure the display of stock was up to a high standard
• Multi-tasking; for example operating the till, coffee machine and heating food for customers
• Carrying out food reductions using a Honeywell device and printer
• Working effectively in a team
• Communicating with customers and assisting them in the location of their items within the store
• Completing regular computer training, such as; level 2 food safety, allergens, data protection, etc
