An energetic and self-starting individual, Harriet has a plethora of experience in a wide range of areas which would be transferable to an EA role. Throughout her career Harriet has been adept at working in fast pace and often stressful environments and is used to plans having to change at the last minute. Harriet has a proven track record in personal assistance, starting her career as the PA to the MD of a small company and she also spent the last 7 months filling in for the PA at Kindle Entertainment, as well as training the previous PAs.
Harriet has just been made redundant and is now seeking a new challenge, she is excited to see what new opportunities are out there.
Throughout my career all of my roles have been in project management.
After graduating from University with a 1st class BA Hons in Digital Film Production I went to work for a Documentary company, the role I held there was Assistant Producer but this role was also working as the PA to the Director of the company. As well as production management, research, budgeting and scheduling and attending shoots both in the UK and in the USA this role included diary management, filtering the directors emails and responding on his behalf where needed, office management, bookkeeping (credit card recs, expense claims), both national and international travel logistics, organising events such as premiers and screenings (for 250+ attendees).
I have also worked as a Travel Manager for New Regency - in this role I was organising international travel for 350+ crew members as well as the cast and executives (with at times very specific travel requirements, private jets, first class door to door service etc).
I also worked as an Assistant Accountant for Darrall Macqueen - working on credit card recs, expense claims for all crew members (approx. 80 people), managing payment runs and approving invoices, liaising with suppliers and crew members.
I worked for many years as a Line Producer - this role is incredibly high level and I was responsible for the management of productions in all areas, from health and safety, compliance, hiring and firing, budgets and schedules, to conflict management and training.
In my latest role as Production Executive for Kindle Entertainment, over the last 6 months in this role I had to fill in, on top of my role, as the PA to the two MDs - as the company was struggling financially we had to let our PA go earlier in the year, so I took over her duties. This involved diary management, liaising with agents, writers, financiers, broadcasters and streamers. Festival attendance.
Management. Maintaining client relations. National and International travel. Awards submissions. Organising premiers.
I feel like I have a plethora of relevant experience to slide quickly and easily into any EA role.
