Harriet Hudgell

Hey! I'm Harriet. After working for an NGO during my time in Sydney, I have managed to narrow down what I want to do with my career. After working in a refugee camp in Greece this narrowed down the where- the humanitarian sector is overlooked by so many and I know I want to spend my time using the skills I have to make a difference in this sector.

I am a dedicated professional with extensive experience in fundraising, project coordination, and content creation, driven by a passion for making a positive difference. I have proven expertise in donor engagement, crafting compelling narratives, and executing successful campaigns. My career is defined by strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments.

Currently undertaking an immersive French course, I aim to further enhance my ability to contribute in diverse settings.

During my time last year working in a refugee camp I underwent some extensive online and in person safeguarding training. Despite my academic experience, I would have to say this training was the most important as well as relevant. This training has changed the way I operate not only on relevant projects but also in any work environment and has made me more aware on how I can positively adapt my behavior in different settings to provide a safe and productive environment wherever I work.
