Driver/Installer at John Mitchell Electrical (2025-10 – Present)

My duties include loading and unloading the van, installing white goods for customers, maintaining the offsite warehouse and van.

Stock Management at Universal Site Supplies Ltd (2017-09 – 2025-10)

My current duties for stock management are to oversee all incoming goods, apply bar codes to them (in some cases create them), ensure the stock figures remain as accurate as possible, be sure products remain in the correct place, pyramid stack pallets. I set up a digital system for the company to use for paperless picking, for example the mapping, and bar coding. Prior to stock management I was a Picker/Packer which entailed fulfilling orders, and then loading them on the van later on in the afternoon.

I have also delivered goods to site for the company for a 4 years whilst maintaining my job role within the warehouse.

General Assistant at Tesco (2015-07 – 2017-09)

I am experienced in a few varying roles throughout my time with Tesco, roles I have been trained in are as follows:

• Bakery: I was trained in the bakery on a brief basis due to the age restriction at the time, the parts of the role accessible to me in that duration was, slicing bread, prepping the pastries and doughnuts and ensuring the fresh baked goods are stocked.
• Backdoor: Receiving deliveries and putting them in the correct places e.g. fresh in the fridge section of the warehouse or using the pallet truck to move promotion products to their applicable location.
• Petrol Station: Very similar to checkouts, but with added responsibilities such as, supervising the forecourt to ensure everyone abides to the health and safety requirements, receiving deliveries every Tuesday and Friday, ensuring everything is well stocked and finally providing a good level of customer service which is applicable to most roles. The health and safety requirements (as mentioned above) include understanding the petrol vapour regulations, ensuring spills are dealt with immediately with sand and then cleaned up, age restrictions to operating the pumps, and the restrictions to purchasing the fuel. A few examples of the type of assistance I have given in the petrol station include changing the tyres on VW Golf, Pushing cars to the back of the forecourt if they have broken down and offered refreshments whilst they wait, especially on a hot day.
• Checkouts: Serving the customers in the main store, ensuring all items are put through the till at a moderate speed whilst maintaining a good level of conversation and service to the customer and general assistance.
