I am a final-year International Relations student at the University of St Andrews. Throughout my time at University, I have sought out a variety of opportunities to further my development, whether this be professionally through the undertaking of a year– long voluntary online internship, or socially, through memberships of various sports and academic societies.
Having lived in an international environment in Brussels from 2012 – 2017 has made me a global citizen with a passion for travel and learning about different languages, cultures and societies.
I am a responsible, outgoing and hard-working person with excellent communication skills. I am confident in both written and oral communication and have experience working with people of different ages and backgrounds. My work and voluntary experience has developed my professionalism and leadership. I am reliable, diplomatic, and proactive.
Through my various experiences and positions, I believe I have consistently proved I work well both independently and in a team.
I have worked in a variety of positions, both voluntary and paid. I currently work as a Medical Typist at an international radiology firm, but also have experience working for NGO's and as a watersports coach. This wide range of jobs has taught me to seize the initiative, and fostered a passion in delivering the best possible service for clients.
At the University of St Andrews, my International Relations degree has widened my understanding of various areas of the global community. I have studied extensively in security, particularly in relation to Chinese foreign policy and leader personality, and have balanced this with explorations of emotions and diplomacy in this field.
