I have over 35 years of experience in Hospitality and Catering . I am experienced, innovative, highly motivated and have a diverse skill set which, I believe will enable me to excel in this teaching position and facilitate success for all students.
I am passionate about teaching and inspiring students to achieve their potential, and develop their own personal creativity in catering. I am skilled in creating a learning environment which encourages a growth mindset where all students can achieve success no matter their starting point. I pride myself in building a good rapport with my students, based on a mutual respect and desire to mentor and support them in their learning.
I am a very talented chef able to combine my experiences of travel and different cultures to successfully cook food; and engineer menus which celebrate the multicultural society in which we live. I speak 3 different languages fluently, which enables me to communicate with staff and students for whom English is a second language.
