Apprentice hairdresser (2019-01 – 2020-03)
I started this job as a Saturday girl, however the boss seen potential and asked if I wanted an apprenticeship with him. As soon as I finished school, I went straight into the apprenticeship. I worked in the salon 5 days a week, as well as going to college 1 day a week. Unfortunately, due to covid, in 2020 the boss had to let me go due to the lack of money to keep me.
Waitress (2020-09 – 2022-06)
I started working as a waitress while I was in college and learning how to drive. It didn't take long until I gained lots of confidence to be able to serve tables, serve behind the bar and not rely on anyone to help me along.
TA Volunteer In between college and waitressing, I volunteered once a week at a local primary school. This really helped me understand how difficult it can be for teacher, but at the same time how rewarding it is.
