Imad Dagher

I am an innovative, resourceful and responsible lecturer with a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering (Materials: fibre reinforced concrete) from the University of Portsmouth. Having practised both in Construction industry and in the education sector for many years, my teaching and research skills have been enhanced, making me a professional and committed teacher with a demonstrating ability to support the personal and academic development of young people in tertiary education. I am ambitious and an enthusiastic person who embraces new challenges and opportunities.

• Use of a diverse range of teaching methods including the use of the virtual learning environment to create high-quality learning, inclusive and interactive learning
• Providing pastoral support and academic counseling for Construction and Built Environment students
• Undertake teaching and delivery of units, preparation of teaching materials, marking/grading and provision of immediate feedback
• Programme lead for BTEC Construction and Built Environment and CIOB certificate course in site management
