I hold a 2:1 honours degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, and Statistics from Cardiff University. Currently, I am actively pursuing a remote part time role while I recover from a broken collarbone.

GENERAL MANAGER AND DUAL INSTRUCTOR | MOVING MOUTAINS SKI | SEPT 2021 - PRESENT

As a general manager and ski and snowboard instructor, I oversee many of the functions of the business. Throughout the role, I have been recruiting and training both the instructing and café team, continually coaching, mentoring, and evaluating them in order deliver the best results for our customers. Proactively creating schedules that drive revenue retention through client satisfaction, in addition to employee retention through consistent work life balance. Conducting business functionality reviews through audits and meetings to optimise lessons through the improvement of time and team management. I have developed events packages, including corporate events and summer camps, which incorporated entertainment, team building and coaching activities. I also liaise with the marketing manager to discuss market trends and devise new business plans, promotions, and opportunities for continual improvement and target reaching. As an instructor, I tailor each session to match the skill, age and learning ability of all participants. Ensuring each customer progresses to the best of their ability while using clear and concise communication. I always adhere to lesson schedules whilst allowing sufficient time for additional customer interaction, this can include advice on progression or any winter sports holiday queries.
