As a CS Healthcare Coordinator, my responsibilities included handling incoming calls from both clients and staff, addressing and resolving any queries promptly and effectively. In my role as an Out-of-Hours Coordinator, I was also responsible for managing shift schedules, including adding or cancelling client shifts, reallocating or removing staff from assigned shifts, and ensuring that all updates were accurately recorded in the database. Recently I had been assigned to more admin duties such as dealing with issues arising on the Intercom.

Initially worked in this firm on a voluntary basis, and carried out various admin duties. These mainly consisted of answering telephone calls, filing, photocopying and typing official letters. Subsequently due to strong will and determination, was offered a permanent position by the principal of the firm.
Court and assisted in compiling notes relating to the course of events at trial. Was expected to take on a further legal clerk role in addition to existing duties. Also became responsible for the preparation of many cases and assisted the solicitors in preparing Briefs, filling out parts of the Legal Aid forms and Defence Case Statements, arranging prison visits, reviewing CCTV Footage and witness Statements. Handled a case heard at the Coventry Crown Court which was undergoing retrial. Duties were to attend the Court, meet the client in the cells with the Barrister, and prepare any relevant paperwork as instructed by the barrister and to keep the client informed as much as possible. This was an invaluable experience as it gave me the confidence of being able to work individually on a case and also developed my knowledge and understanding of the different

Have experience of working in a telesales capacity for Redgate and Co who provides a will writing service. Was responsible for making outbound calls to the general public by promoting the services provided by Redgate and Co, generating leads and subsequently following them up to secure sales. After gathering the leads had to follow them up and arrange appointments with the customers.
Working in such a capacity helped me enhance my communication skills further as well as giving me the opportunity of liaising with members of the general public in quite a challenging role. My target for a daily shift was to accumulate 10 leads, and due to motivation these were achieved within the set time limit.

My role in this busy environment mainly consisted of working alongside the solicitors and other colleagues by carrying out multiple tasks. These consisted of filing, audio typing, dealing with the post and offering a helping hand to the solicitors. The most enjoyable, informative and learning aspect of my work experience was when I was given the opportunity to observe and listen to the head solicitor deal with one of his cases.
This gave me an invaluable insight into the work of solicitors and the individual techniques and approaches that they adopt whilst dealing with cases.
Mentor - City College

Worked as a peer mentor for City College at the Women's Academy. Prepared motivating sessions which consequently enabled my mentee's to develop their confidence and knowledge for their A level courses. The types of activities that were carried out within my sessions were helping students to plan their essays and preparing for examinations. Ultimately, my mentoring experience has enabled me to develop numerous skills such as preparation, communication and time-management.
Befriender - Herondale Nursing Home

I worked at this Nursing home on a voluntary basis as a befriender. My role was to engage in conversations with the residents and to involve them in stimulating activities such as reading, writing and painting. This was extremely challenging as the residents suffered from dementia, and therefore would sometimes not cooperate so easily. Despite this barrier, I believe that I was successful in many activities, and that many residents had a good time.
