Having started my career as an evening and weekend sales advisor in a small out-of-town retail in park in South Wales, I have worked my way through the creative retail space one mannequin at a time. With a career spanning over nine years, I have a wide expertise in Visual Merchandising, Window Design and Creative Retail Marketing, you could say I'm a "Jack" of many trades.
Now residing in London, I work as part of Retail and wider Creative Marketing Teams to bring a brands vision to life through Visual Merchandising and Retail Marketing. Two areas that I believe are vital in creating a physical identity for a brand, you might have the best brand in the world, but without people knowing about it, how would the brand succeed?
A brands identity is one of its greatest assets, it allows a brand to exist beyond what it's selling, it allows brands to connect with its customers, and allows the brand to become a household name that everyone would recognise. My current aim is to do this through visual merchandising, in-store marketing, campaign windows and aligning retail to e-commerce to ensure a consistent brand image.
As any creative knows, it's not always about the glamour. I thrive having my business hat on, diving deep into commercial analysis, managing budgets, and building great relationships with suppliers and collaborators, to ensure creative also works commercially.
