Jack Jones

For the past 3 years I have been working towards my A levels which I have now got. In college I had to keep concentration in lectures and stay ahead of homework for some of the most challenging A level subjects. To do this I had to use listening skills as well as time management skills. I would like to develop my skills further through work aswell as gain independence. Over the past year I have taken a break from studying however I am now eager to begin working.

Leaflet Deliverer - Marauder's Men's Health - Neath area

Delivered a thousand leaflets to several villages in the Neath area, informing people in the local area of the support a local charity offers

• Communicate with the local organiser to plan and decide which of the local areas to deliver leaflets in
• Took initiative to get myself to and from delivering leaflets without relying on others
• Handled the leaflets with care and made sure they were delivered

Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Participant - Duke of Edinburgh

• Dedicated 6 months to football training and playing for local under-16 team, and 3 months to developing cooking skills, improving fitness and valuable life skills
• Dedicated 3 months to helping grandmother maintain her garden, including: weeding, watering plants and power washing her patio
• Participated in an expedition, where I used teamwork skills to navigate independent of teacher support as a group
