My life has very much revolved around the world of gaming; I led a roblox group when I was 9 years old that reached 50,000 members, generating in current conversion around $40,000 through in-game item selling and a business structure based on Star Wars canon. I then 'retired' to start playing amateur halo and call of duty tournaments. At around 11 years old, I transitioned into playing League of Legends, reaching Grandmaster at age 12.
I then also promptly 'retired' and moved to Smite, where I spent the best part of 10 years competing in various esports circuits. Following leaving school and while coaching part time; I joined Santander's Software Development Apprenticeship scheme, working primarily in the Mortgages & Loans domain which gave me the opportunity to learn the corporate world, learning key critical skills both technically and personally. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to advise, in an informal capacity, a variety of businesses primarily surrounding strategy and marketing.
In my spare time, I'm both an avid reader and a gamer, currently playing Valve's new MOBA 'deadlock' as a top player and currently reading Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen. I also spend time in Japan with my partner's family. Recently, I have been researching forms of thought (verbal, visual and others) and their implication on education and career pathways - an idea first formulated from discussion with other professional esports players.
