Dedicated and passionate sports nutritionist with a lifelong commitment to football. As a semi-professional athlete, I have a deep understanding of the unique nutritional needs of football players. I have completed my degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science, which equips me with the latest knowledge and research to optimise athletic performance.

As the lead performance nutritionist at Muscle and Mind, I specialise in providing tailored nutritional strategies to athletes across a diverse array of sports, including bodybuilding, football, marathons, boxing, and more. My role goes beyond standard dietary advice; I focus on optimising each athlete's performance through an individualised approach that considers their unique needs, goals, and the demands of their sport. I have more than 3 years' experience working with younger athletes achieving personal goals.

I have gained valuable experience within clinical and healthcare settings that has strengthened my interest in pursuing a Master's in Dietetics. I have supported patients with daily care needs, including assistance with meals and monitoring dietary intake in line with individual care plans. This has given me insight into the importance of nutrition in recovery, particularly for patients with complex medical conditions such as malnutrition risk, diabetes, and gastrointestinal disorders.
I have also observed the work of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including dietitians, which has helped me understand how evidence-based nutritional care is applied in practice. These experiences have developed my communication skills, professionalism, and understanding of patient-centred care, while also shaping my interest in how clinical nutrition principles can be applied beyond hospital settings, particularly in sports nutrition, where tailored dietary strategies support performance, recovery, and injury rehabilitation in physically active individuals.
Sports Performance Assessments (Undergraduate) - University of Lancashire

During my undergraduate degree in Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science, I conducted a range of applied sports performance assessments using methods such as VO₂ max testing, lactate sampling, and power output measurements to evaluate physiological responses to exercise. I analysed lactate levels pre- and post-exercise to assess anaerobic capacity and recovery efficiency, while also measuring changes in power output to determine performance adaptations over time. In addition, I implemented and evaluated hydration strategies, recovery protocols, and supplementation approaches to investigate their impact on performance optimisation.
These practical experiences involved calculating recovery needs based on physiological data, allowing me to critically assess how targeted nutritional and exercise interventions can enhance athletic performance and recovery outcomes. These assessments were carried out using a range of specialist sports science equipment, including metabolic carts for VO₂ max testing, lactate analysers and capillary blood sampling kits for lactate measurement, cycle ergometers and treadmills for controlled exercise testing, and wattbikes and force plates to assess power out
