Since leaving College in 2015 I have gained great experience in a number of different roles and locations as a chef. I have always relished the challenge of creating a fine dining experience and working as part of a high performing team to ensure customer satisfaction.
In many of previous positions I have learned to work under pressure and have gained experience in supervising Commis Chefs and from running the stations of Sauce and Pass and appreciate the importance of the kitchen working as a team with clear responsibilities. In a recent position I gained experience as Head of Department due to staff shortages and understood the responsibilities of delegating work throughout the team available.
It continues to be my passion to provide meals from a wide range of menus to a high standard that generates customer satisfaction and secures recognition of the skills of the chefs and kitchen staff. I continue my professional development by ensuring I have up-to-date qualifications on hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety.
My various posts over the last year or so have demonstrated a willingness to learn from different establishments, wither catering for thousands or a small number of diners who appreciate good food, well served in an enjoyable atmosphere.
As my career has developed I have learned to understand the importance of achieving a profit whilst presenting good food to time and high quality, and grow in the satisfaction of a challenging and rewarding career as a Chef.
