My name is Jane Mitchell-Reilly I am a Registered General Nurse since 1995 with experience in the NHS within the NHS Hospital and Integrated Care Board settings. Previous roles have included Safeguard Lead Co-Ordinator, Operational Management Lead, Neurosurgical Nurse, Neurology Nurse, and Orthopedic Surgery Nurse. Advisor for both Deprivation of Liberty Case Management and Mental Capacity Lead.
I most recently worked as a Clinical Lead Nurse Continuing Healthcare North Central London Integrated Care Board. I undertake undifferentiated assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for adults and children transitioning to adulthood.
I have experience in case management, disease management, medicines management and adult and child safeguarding. Experience is also held in remote clinical assessment and triage work. Jane’s safeguarding background incorporates the following:
I have experience in homicide reviews. Domestic Violence cases also giving a professional opinion and working closely with all MDT members and allocated solicitor on safeguard cases where police participated in suspected culpable homicide. I have many years of experience in drafting various reports and applications for example to present to a coroner, police and or Court of Protection. Experience in writing witness statements to support the ICB when cases are going to Court of Protection CoP11 applications with supportive documents and statements for example applying for a DOLs.
In my previous role as a Discharge nurse I responsible for writing and developing the Trust wide discharge policy.
Collated and wrote the sitrep reports for national reporting and liaison with the CCGs and Local Authorities.
