Experience

Picker & Packer at Amazon (2022-11 – 2023-02)

I worked as a picker and packer at Amazon (Dartford) for a couple of months to understand how the operations of Amazon work. I got an understanding of customer needs, picking and packing their orders and understanding the end to end process of orders being sent to Amazon. I took real pride in ensuring each order was correctly picked and packed before passing on for delivery to customers.

I learnt a lot, worked with senior leaders and peers, engaged with several colleagues, willing to learn new ways of working. I brought positivity, leadership and engagement to the role. In turn, I learnt so much about Amazon and would like to bring my new skills and capabilities to my next role.

I am ready for my next challenge.

Waiter at La Baravin Wine Bar (2022-08 – 2022-08)

I worked as a part-time waiter at La Baravin Wine Bar for 4 weeks to gain experience in understanding customers, their needs and improving on the customer relationship on a daily basis. I supported the manager, the team and was a keen and willing learner. I ensured customers were looked after by ensuring their needs were catered to whilst serving them (always with positivity and a smile).

I was always kind, communicative and listened to their requests. I learnt a lot about the industry in my short time at La Baravin – unfortunately the manager was looking to take the business in a different direction with all full time staff and they had to let me go. I thoroughly enjoyed the role and it gave me some experience in this industry and I would like to build on this in my next job.
