(2025-01)
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – TEMPORARY and PERMANENT DIVISION - HOSPO Talent - Scotland
(2024-02 - 2024-12)
At HOSPO Talent I received more experience being a Recruitment Consultant, whether it is interviewing, compliance or resourcing staff for different temporary roles. The roles have included bar and waiting staff, chefs and cleaning positions in many hotels and restaurants throughout Scotland. Myself alone I have organised many large and small events, including The Golf Open at Troon and The Taylor Swift Concert at Murrayfield Stadium, from interviewing staff, training to the onsite operations of every event.
Being onsite of the events I believe it's very important so you can ensure everything is going to plan, the staff are prepared, and the staff and client are happy. In addition to temporary events, I have resourced for Seasonal Staff in the Isles and I have experience with Permanent Recruitment or Sous and Head Chefs, General Managers, Cleaning Manager and Hotel Sales Manager in Scotland. For both Temporary and Permanent Divisions I was involved in Business Development and working with more clients for HOSPO Talent.
recruitment Consultant - Arc RECRUITMENT - Edinburgh and Glasgow
(2023-10 - 2024-02)
With nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality, it has given me the confidence to become a solo Consultant in Edinburgh and Glasgow for Arc Recruitment Agency for Hospitality. Daily I worked alongside the Head of Scotland where I organised not only our schedule with both our external clients, but I frequently interview and onboard all new employees. I have great diary management skills and efficiency, which allows me to personally recruit for both small hotels and large events in Glasgow and Edinburgh in many hospitality job roles.
The job roles include kitchen, bar, hospitality, retail and security. I recruited for Six Nations at Murrayfield, where they have asked Arc for 200 staff members. Recruiting with Arc, I work with the Talent Funnel system, this is where we can advertise jobs, arrange interviews both in person and online, onboard, rights to work, training and finally hiring.
restaurant manager - The Blair - Ayrshire
(2022-08 - 2023-10)
Working in a busy and fast paced restaurant, I've had to ensure the service was quick, whilst maintaining the high standards of customer service that The Blair has always held. One of my responsibilities was to train the front of house staff, whether it was alcohol training, mixology and customer service standards. During this period I received my certificate for Scottish Alcohol Personal License.
Manager, I get more experience with payroll and targets. Working with Zonal and Sage systems. I believe in a great working environment and believe all departments need to communicate with each other.
General manager - The LamB Inn - Oxford
(2022-01 - 2022-08)
The Lamb Inn is a boutique hotel in Oxford, which specialises in both British and French cuisine. We had 300 wines, which I had to pass on my knowledge to all the staff as I am WSET qualified. I worked closely with the owner and spent a lot of time out of service with payroll and any human resources needed completed. I left The Lamb purely as I was moving back to Scotland.
deputy manager - Fuego Lounge - east sussex
(2020-08 - 2022-01)
At Fuego Lounge I continued to emphasise the importance of the running the restaurant and bar to the highest of standards. As Deputy Manager I was hyper aware of the performance of the team, targets and GP. There is a league of all 157 Lounges for the first time we were consistently in the top 3 whilst I was there. In addition I was in charge of all the ordering of bar and dry goods. I believe I create a great working environment, by being approachable and good at communication.
