I will join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s psychology-led Adult Eating Disorder Service in September 2026 for a specialist placement across outpatient and inpatient settings.
The placement will include supervised psychological assessment, collaborative formulation, risk assessment and high-intensity intervention with adults experiencing moderate-to-severe eating disorders and co-occurring difficulties.
I will gain experience of specialist approaches including CBT, CFT, MANTRA, Schema Therapy and MBT, while working closely with psychology, nursing, psychiatry, dietetics, occupational therapy and peer support.
Planned opportunities also include group-programme development, consultation, teaching and training, complex-case discussions, inpatient liaison and collaborative work with families, carers and partner services.

Adult Learning Disability Service | NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
Worked as a trainee within a community adult learning disability service, supporting adults with varied cognitive, communication and mental health needs through direct clinical work and consultation with families, carers and support providers.
Conducted psychological and cognitive assessments, including assessment for suspected dementia, and delivered person-centred psychological interventions adapted to individuals’ learning, communication and accessibility needs.
Provided Positive Behaviour Support consultation to support services, developing shared formulations and practical strategies to improve quality of life and reduce behaviours that challenge. Collaborated with the wider clinical team to promote consistent, psychologically informed care.
