Jessica Knipe

I am a driven, adaptable, and hardworking 16-year-old school leaver with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. During my work experience at a local high school, I divided my time between administrative support and student mentoring. Working in the school office honed my organisational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with their literacy work developed my patience, empathy, and ability to tailor my communication skills in a variety of situations. Outside of school, I am a dedicated dancer and regular performer. Working a part of a dancing school has taught me discipline, time management, and how to perform under pressure as a reliable team player, and also how to work independently to rehearse and choregraph dances.

I am eager to apply my strong interpersonal skills, organisational abilities, and proactive attitude to a part time retail position to further develop my experience and skills.

Work Experience at St Ambrose Barlow RC High School (2025-06-22 – 2025-06-26)

• Administration support – filing, typing, editing powerpoints, preparing invigilation folders
• Literacy Support – One to One support for students in the Autism Provision to support reading and comprehension skills
• Department Support (Maths & English): Preparing curriculum resource materials, designing display boards and organising staff work spaces as directed
• In Class Support – attending lessons supporting teachers to distribute worksheets and help students with their learning
