Hello! I’m Jessica, a motivated and versatile professional with experience across childcare, healthcare, administration and customer-facing roles. Over the years, I’ve developed strong communication, organisation, and people-management skills — along with the ability to stay calm, patient, and solution-focused in fast-paced environments.
I’ve supported children in nursery and primary school settings, cared for vulnerable adults in residential and community care, and gained valuable admin and customer service experience along the way. I’m known for being reliable, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Alongside my professional work, I’m also a creative entrepreneur. I run an Etsy shop — Jessie’s Digital Gifts — where I design digital invitations, templates, and personalised graphics. I also enjoy photography, capturing weddings, maternity shoots, birthdays, and other special moments.
I’m now exploring new opportunities where I can bring together my transferable skills — whether in childcare, support roles, administration, customer service, or creative work. I love learning new things, and I’m always ready to take on a challenge.
I have over seven years of experience across childcare, healthcare, and support-based roles, where I’ve developed strong skills in communication, safeguarding, personal care, and administration. I’ve supported children, families, and vulnerable adults in both educational and care environments, always focusing on providing a safe, positive, and supportive experience.
In childcare, I worked within nurseries and primary schools, helping to create engaging environments and building trusted relationships with parents and teachers. I was promoted to Deputy Team Leader, where I managed rotas, supported staff, and helped ensure smooth, organised before- and after-school sessions.
My healthcare background includes providing compassionate personal care in both residential and community settings. I assisted with daily routines, mobility, medication, and care plans, always supporting individuals with dignity, including during end-of-life care.
Since 2022, I’ve also grown my confidence through freelance wedding photography, working alongside my partner at Luminar Studios. Through this creative work, I’ve helped tell couples’ stories, capture their most meaningful moments, and develop a strong eye for detail, emotion, and natural storytelling. This experience has strengthened my communication skills, creativity, and ability to work independently with professionalism.
Alongside these roles, I’ve gained valuable experience through voluntary work in classrooms, nurseries, elderly care, and retail, all of which have helped shape me into an adaptable, reliable, and caring professional who enjoys supporting and connecting with others.
I have a strong educational background in health and social care, as well as childcare. My most relevant qualification is the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care, which provided me with a solid foundation in safeguarding, communication, wellbeing, and supporting individuals in care settings. I also completed Level 2 CACHE qualifications in both Health & Social Care and Childcare & Education, providing practical understanding of child development, care routines, and working safely with children and vulnerable adults.
