About

I am a born South African raised in Namibia. My family and I relocated to the UK when I was 14 years old. In Summer 2023, I completed my A level Law, Business and Economics. I am currently taking a gap year and will be completing a college course starting september.

I have worked in Retail for the last few months at the Works and I believe the experience I have gained from only a few months in such a customer-focused industry is invaluable and will stay with me forever. I have fallen in love with retail and working with customers in a face-to-face environment as my past positions may reflect.

I am a goal driven and disciplined individual who works hard towards my achievements and dreams. I am very proud to say that I have completed GCSE’s and A-Levels through an Online College on my own, which takes much dedication and hard work. Being in a distance learning setup (Home Schooling) from a very young age developed very valuable and strong communication- and time management skills in me.

My key strengths are having organisational skills and dedication, and I thrive on structure. I believe in daily planning and that it is a positive part of a balanced life.

I am a team player as I love being social, but can also work very well on my own and take charge of my own workload and responsibility.

I am interested in Politics and in my spare time enrich myself with books and daily News on the subject and world news. Although I plan on studying politics academically, I have a huge personal interest in selfcare and self-care products, specifically skincare, haircare and body care. I regularly enrich myself on trends, products and what specific ingredients are used for. I believe this will allow me to thrive in a retail position.
