My name is Joanne and I am currently employed as a Prevention & Assessment Officer, working with members of the public who are homeless now, or at risk of homelessness within 56 day. I have and manage my own caseload of 100+ clients.
I have worked within homeless related sectors for 5+ years. Prior to this I was employed within the Social Housing Sector. I have a passion for people, my community, making a difference and helping people become the best version of them self.
Everyone is entitled to and deserves a place to live, a place to build their life from. I am always open to new challenges and new opportunities. This could be within the sector I currently work, or beyond.
I am open to learning new skills and experience and welcome all offers of potential training and development. I have knowledge and experience of working with adult and children's services, housing, domestic abuse, honour based violence and abuse, probation services, shelter, crisis, the Whitechapel, out of borough local authorities, property pool plus, the private rented sector, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health, homeless code of guidance etc. The areas/sectors I am also interested in are County Lines Support Services, The Home Office, Immigration, Boarder Control, Counter Terrorism etc.
