I work full time in a CQC registered care home.

I previosly worked in a care home for older people.

I have completed my care certificate, I also have up to date e-learning with my current employer which covers a wide range of topics for example working with challenge behaviours, oral hygiene, suicide intervention and just recently I finished a module on eating disorders.

part of my current job is also kitchen lead and infection control. I have extra tasks I have to complete for this.

As a recovery worker you work closely with the service users this can be very enjoyable and also very challenging at times.

I went into care work at the beginning of 2020 and I really like working with different people and finding out about them it was very challenging and rewarding and I like that no two days are the same.
