Hello there!
I am an environmental science graduate from the University of Leeds currently seeking employment.
My desire to help and improve motivates me best and I want to find a profession that facilitates this, one which has a tangible societal benefits.
I have an affinity for learning and always like to be occupied and doing something. I love playing and listening to music for this reason.
During my time at Leeds university, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad at Osaka University in Japan. Coping with the difficulties associated with living in a culturally different country made me a highly adaptable person. The most surprising thing I learned during my time away, was once I learned to look past the apparent differences in culture, there is more commonality than I originally thought.
If you feel I'd be a potential candidate for your role, please don't hesitate to get in touch as I'd love to hear about any opportunities.
Thanks!
My most recent professional employment includes working at Harewood House as a bird/farm animal keeper and as a ecologically conscious gardener.
During my time as an animal keeper I enjoyed being part of a close knit team ensuring the best welfare of the animals during the difficult time of closing the bird garden for good.
As a gardener at Harewood and collaborating closely with a colleague, I was able to conduct environmental surveys leading to a biodiversity action plan that culminated with a presentation and practical workshop for volunteers on environmental sampling.
