Hi, I’m JJ!
I’m an adventure travel specialist with a background in heli-skiing and wilderness tourism in British Columbia, Canada. Over the years, I’ve worked across sales, guest services, and operations - giving me a well-rounded understanding of how to deliver seamless, unforgettable experiences. With a strong foundation in customer service, I pride myself on being resourceful, adaptable, and always motivated to go the extra mile.
I love working as part of a team, but I am very self-motivated and equally confident working on individual projects. Above all, I’m passionate about travel and the outdoors - whether skiing, hiking, or biking - and I love helping others discover their own adventures.
I have spent the past 2 years working for Selkirk Tangiers Heli-Skiing in BC, Canada. I started out working in the Guest Services team, working face-to-face with clients to ensure they consistently had the best experience possible. I soon progressed to the Sales and Reservations team, where I was responsible for the entire sales cycle of high-value, luxury heli-skiing trips for clients from around the world. In this role, I really honed not only my sales skills, but also a meticulous attention to detail and communication, due to the high-pressure and demanding nature of an industry like heli-skiing. Before returning to the UK, I worked in a similar Sales role for Great Canadian Tours, who provide wilderness tours to travellers from around the world. This role was a fantastic step to cement the skills I gathered working at Selkirks.
Through my fascination with the world, I undertook my Ba Geography Degree at The University of Leeds, where I proudly achieved a First Class with Honours. The modules I completed in my final year included; Spaces of Migration and Encounter, Advanced Population & Health Geographies, and the Geography of Global Insecurities.
