Typically, I review a company’s structure, processes (R2R, P2P), systems, data, controls, procedures, culture, business requirements before making tailored recommendations to the Board, regarding the design, selection and implementation of new systems, and processes.
I then plan the projects (Agile or Waterfall), so they are completed on time, within budget.
My experience includes designing technical specs, discovery requirements (RFP), plan go live, test scripts, user acceptance training, and documenting new processes, procedures and policies.
I have several years’ experience as a Finance Director/Controller, so am familiar with the general ledger, reporting and process requirements for finance too.
